Strength in Numbers
This semester has been off to an amazing start for Grassroots! Maybe it’s due to our program grew from one university to four. Or maybe it is because we had 99 athletes sign up to volunteer with Grassroots this semester! Or maybe it is both! Either way, we are ecstatic about the number of student athletes at Georgetown, George Washington, Howard, and Maryland that are not only willing, but excited, to spend their time each week in schools teaching kids about HIV/AIDS and making healthy life choices!
It is truly amazing to see so many young people rallying together for a great cause and having fun in the process! We are so excited by all the growth that Grassroots has had and even more excited to see where we are headed in the future!
