We are grateful that so many talented community members lend a helping hand to support our organziation’s capacity and infrastructure. We are also thrilled to have joined several alliances that share our vision of a healthier generation of youth.

At the end of each semester of Grassroots Health, we coordinate a celebratory event, called “Grassroots Connect,” to directly connect our students to a range of youth-friendly clinical and social providers that work in their neighborhoods. These providers offer services that are relevant to all three of our curricula – mental, nutritional, and sexual health. It’s one thing to talk about visiting a provider and to teach a student where that provider is and how to reach out. It’s another thing for students to also get the chance to meet the real, friendly human that provides those services. We provide Grassroots Connect to celebrate our youth and also to help them navigate the many services that exist to support them outside of Grassroots Health. We are grateful to the many partners that participate in these events.
Our work would be impossible without the teachers, coaches, and administrators from both universities and middle schools. Because of them, we are able to connect with students and college-athletes who are at the heart of our entire operation. To become an educational partner, click here.
