Robert Koller is the Senior Vice President & General Manager for the FEP Operations Center® (FEPOCSM), an IT solutions provider for the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Federal Employee Program® (FEP®).
Robert first began his career with FEPOC as the Vice President, Customer Strategy and Solutions where he was responsible for the direct oversight of Strategic Development and Planning, Relationship Management, and Strategic Communications. Shortly after,Robert was appointed by the SBPASC Board of Directors as Senior Vice President & General Manager of the FEPOC. In partnership with the Blue Cross Blue Shield FEP® Director’s Office, he is accountable for the oversight of the enterprise’s business operations which serves to provide healthcare technology products and services to 34 Blue Cross and Blue Shield Plans across the country.
Prior to joining the FEPOC in 2020, Robert served in various leadership roles for Fannie Mae within the Product Development, Risk Management, and Relationship Management teams. In these roles, he developed products and services aimed to close the homeownership gap for minorities and low-income borrowers. Additionally, he led the Home Affordable Refinance Program™(HARP) – a unique program that offered low-cost options to keep borrowers in their homes and mitigate the risks of foreclosure. During his tenure at Fannie Mae, Robert owned the end-to-end business relationships between the organization that served over 300 customers across 14 states.
With 30 years of experience in the financial services and healthcare industries, Robert holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from American University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from St. Joseph’s University. He is trained in enterprise agility, Lean Ways of Working Principles and has completed the executive development program through the Harvard Business School.
Robert is a resident of Northern Virginia with his wife and two sons and spends his free time at competitive swim events and ice hockey games.
