Mark Brown is a swimmer at Howard University, majoring in Psychology with a minor in human development. After graduating, he plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with the goal of serving and strengthening communities through mental health work. He joined Grassroots Health in the spring of 2025 to help create a space where students feel supported and encouraged to grow. Through GRH, he continues to develop the leadership and outreach skills that align with his long-term mission.

Mark got his nickname, “Spidey,” from his lifelong love of Spider-Man, which began at age seven after seeing The Amazing Spider-Man in theaters. Outside of the water, Mark is an avid reader and loves exploring DC’s many diverse restaurants.
