Jay Jones II

Jay Brandon Jones II (he/him) is a Political Science, Pre-Law major at the prestigious Howard University, where he also serves as a dedicated member of the Howard Bison football team. A proud native of Charlotte, North Carolina, Jay has built his college experience around leadership, discipline, and community engagement both on and off the field. Beyond football, he is involved in internships with the government, such as the House of Representatives and the Chamber of Commerce. He also has interning experience with the Temple Law firm in Washington, DC, and the Pamela Hunter Law firm in Charlotte, NC. His passion for Law and government drives him to use his platform as a student-athlete to uplift his peers and highlight the voices of his community. Jay went to Howard University with the goal of not only excelling athletically but also growing as a scholar and leader. Jay is now working on a Certification program in International Studies at Howard and plans to pursue law school. He hopes to inspire younger athletes from Charlotte to chase their dreams with confidence, perseverance, and pride.
