Gerone Hamilton Jr (a.k.a. “Lil G”) is a graduate student at Howard University from Apple Valley, Minnesota. Gerone is getting his master’s degree in Computer Science and graduated with his Bachelor’s in Computer Science in 2022. He has been part of Grassroots Health since 2020, where he has grown and developed as a strong leader for the kids. Gerone’s favorite part of Grassroots is all the silly questions the kids ask, as well as connecting important life lessons through sports.

Lil G is a Grassroots Health super star! He loves going to multiple programs every week and bringing the energy. Lil G played football, basketball, lacrosse, and did track in high school. He is a driven and dedicated leader and will do his all for the kids at all of our middle schools. In Lil G’s personal time, he loves to watch cooking shows and listen to Polo G. He also loves to hang out with friends and do outside activities.
