Ameer Bashir is a Junior swimmer at Howard University, majoring in Political Science with a double minor in Arabic and History. He is from a small town in Delaware called Hartly. After graduation, his goal is to be a diplomat for the United States Foreign Service. He joined Grassroots in 2025 with the goal of helping his community. With GRH, he plans to continue developing as a leader and to work on his interpersonal skills for his future endeavors.
Jimbe is an avid anime watcher and swimmer who loves “One Piece” in particular. Combining the love of both, he became known as Jimbe here at GRH. Outside of being a fishman, he loves trying new food and exploring the many communities in DC.
